Our scheduled presenter&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; did not arrive, and Ms. La Faive offered to lead our session at the very&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; last minute, with no time for preparation. My group members and I were&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; very impressed with the ease with which she stepped in and led the&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; group. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;She started with breathing exercises and progressive muscular relaxation that grounded and relaxed the participants, then moved on to a guided&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; meditation/visualization. Her voice and tone were very soothing and&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; relaxing, and participants were surprised, afterwards, to learn that Ms.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; La Faive was not our original presenter, but had filled in last minute.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;After the breathing, relaxation, and visualization, Ms. La Faive led a&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; discussion with the group about how they felt and what the meditation&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; brought out for each individual. Discussion was lively and she did a&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; nice job of giving everyone a chance to speak and keeping people on&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; topic. The group would have been happy to keep talking with Ms. La&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;Faive well beyond our 2 hour time limit! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;Afterwards, a number of people commented to me that it was one of the best sessions they had attended, and requested that we have Ms. La Faive return for another session in the future.  I was personally impressed with the fact that Ms. La Faive&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; was willing to jump in and lead a program without any advance notice,&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt; and the work she did was wonderful. I left the session relaxed, centered, and energized.
